Just saw this on someone else’s post and I had to laugh. I left my last job due to a bunch of shit worthy of its own post- but at the end I was threatened with my ‘permanent record’ if I didn’t stay an extra week beyond my notice.
I replied to that email and said ok my last day is today, bye.
This was 10 months ago. I left that position for a significant promotion and raise, this last week a recruiter from my former company reached out to interview me for *new title * that I had left them to take.
So I guess my record wasn’t that permanent.
