It seems like after covid the medical field has been more about customers service and not patient care.
I work for for an imaging center for a large hospital and seems like the higher ups are more concerned about how patients view us rather than patient care. Even at the expense of other patients.
I have had a patients make complaints to management about how they they couldn't be seen sooner due to our schedule being full on insert day here. We than get a call from management.
Management: hey that patient that made a complaint, put them in at this time.
Me and my coworkers: but that slot is already taken.
Management: call the patient that is orginally and tell them that the machine is down.
Us: okay but if we do put that patient in, the tech wont get a lunch or at least a very short one.
Management: just do it. Okay im going on vacation bye.
Anyone else seeing this or is it just me.
