Hey all! This is my (23F) first time posting here! To start, I've only been at my current job for around 2 months as of now, but I recently discovered I'll have to be out of state one weekend for family reasons. Unfortunately, it falls on the weekend directly after we do our inventory. I'm already working 50 hours that week, which is way over my normal working hours (I'm part-time). So, I tell the boss about it so she can schedule me in for a morning shift before I leave town, even told her 2 weeks in advance, as is policy. Well, schedules came out today. She scheduled me for a closing shift, which means I can't leave till the next day! I've been severely tempted to quit lately. Guess I'd just get some thoughts from others.
