For context I work at a local restaurant in California. We get paid every other Friday in the form of a physical check, but the checks are almost never there in the morning. We have to text the boss all day until they will finally admit that the checks won’t be there until 15 minutes before close. So unless you are able to be there in an exact 15 minute time span you aren’t able to get your check the day it’s promised.
