Long time lurker, first time poster.
About 2 months ago my millennial boss decided a great question to ask me (Gen X) would be “Do you think you are the right person for this job?”
I didn’t answer his question any of the many times he asked me. Until the last time, he asked me my first day back from 2 weeks vacation. The next day I handed him my resignation letter and said the answer to your question is “No, I guess I’m not”.
The color draining out of his face was glorious. I was the 4th person to resign that week. Two supervisors, a plant manager and a maintenance manager.
The world is burning and these assholes just don’t get it.
