I have a work from home job with an insurance company. I have my computer in a small office in my house and there are times during the day when things are slow and I'd like to hang out in the living room with my wife. I was going to connect my computer to a second monitor in the living room so I can see if my boss messages me.
The problem is that for “security reasons” they say that I can't have second monitor connected to my computer and that their software can detect the second monitor. If I use a split VGA cable will they be able to detect that?
I hope this isn't off topic for this sub but even getting out of my office a couple of times a day to have a coffee and chat with my wife will greatly help my stress level.
