I understand that the bar for a livable wage is high but I always see post talking about how low minimum wage is. I work at a McDonald’s and I make $4 more than minimum wage in my state at a starting position. It’s not enough money to buy a house or anything. I don’t know if I sound dumb but I don’t see anyone actually working for minimum wage but I always see people complaining about getting paid that.
