Hi there! I'm a low level manager of a small team at a small company. I am NOT a social person whatsoever and have purposefully avoided most work activities but my team is lovely and fun, social people who enjoy the idea of a closeknit work environment. They have shared with me a desire to spend more time together both in and outside of the office, share lunches, happy hours, etc. and even offered to buy treats to bring in out of their own pockets.
Our company doesn't have a budget for these things and I would hate for them to spend their own money. I could probably get away with the company paying for a monthly team lunch and I'll try to fight for that. It's completely out of my wheelhouse so any advice or ideas would be much appreciated!
