Objection

To why this post was removed I truly believe that the issue of the cost of education, and especially the exorbitant price of medical education in the US is not off topic at all. Many of us were sold the idea that we need to get an education to get a job in order to live. That if you study hard you will be able to get a better, more prestigious job and have a better life for yourself and your family. But that path is paved with massive student loans which will cripple your family financially if anything goes wrong. I understand that physicians are paid well, but they are workers. Extremely few physicians own their practice any more these days – they are employees. And for nearly a decade prior to receiving fair wages, trainees are heavily exploited at every single step along the way by wealthy corporations.
