I finally said no

After a yeah and a half of no training, being promoted to a director, working 16-20 hour shifts with no overtime because I’m salary, being told to find a place to rest at work, asking for help for no staff, asking to give raises to the staff we have, being humiliated and berated I finally quit. What did the offer me? To take me a step down to lower management and give me the training “I deserve” with a pay cut while they fix the issues that I’ve been asking them to fix for years. I gave them a 30 day notice. But this last week after working a 16 hour shift, I got home and went to sleep at 10pm, at 10:30 I got a call that the noc shift person didn’t show up and they needed me there for another double. I’m so done.
