Antiwork

I need your opinion if you were in management hiring me. Be honest.

I suffer from a rather uncommon set of illnesses. It got to the point where I was/am disabled. I beat it and got back to a point where I was able to function and be apart of the workforce. The field I am currently in is very stressful and my first formal job I’ve had since 2017. The stress and overworking got so much that the very thing I have battled for years came back full force. I’ve been there for 7 months. I had a episode at work that blew out my shoulder/thigh and my body has been in pain since. I’m at the point where I want to quit with no 2 week notice. I’m at the point where I want to quit with no 2 week notice. I don’t care if they dock my pay.

Not only because I’m fed up of the workload, but because I am crying everyday I leave, my body is in a lot of pain, and I’m panicking from having another episode after already having them throughout the week. (
my body stops functioning and contorts while having massive panic attacks.)

My fear is how it will look on my resume. When I get to interviews and they ask why I left without notice, will it look unprofessional on my part or will it show that I honor my health? I’m afraid if I quit immediately it will show poorly at first glance and I won’t get hired.

Please help me quiet my fear.
