My boyfriend has been ar his current job for nearly 10 years. He always shows up early, preps, cleans and helps bus as well as serve. Today he got a notice from his manager who was hired within the last 6 months (and has fired several long term employees since) that he needed to sign paperwork in regards to a series of call outs.
These call outs were from 2.5 months ago. After a drunk driver crashed through our home and destroyed EVERYTHING. She stated it was not a good enough excuse to call out for 2 days and be several minutes late on the 3rd.
