UNPOPULAR OPINION Ageism Rant

Why is it that so many people talk about ageism in the workplace only as it relates to people who are in their 40s and up, when SO many 20 somethings right now are driven, technologically advanced and savvy, self-learning, can-do, educated, critical thinkers who want nothing but to off themselves because they're not the 40 year old Directors who laugh amongst themselves at Thundercats references in the workplace and ostracize others for their AGE for having the energy to do things better. I've seen so much sneering at my age group who are not even able to afford a damn parking ticket in a corporate world that just expects you to suck it up and wash your manager's balls. I thought skill and collaboration meant something. Unpopular opinion but I hope something blows up this stupid corporate structure top to bottom, more than people just quitting and going remote.…

Unpopular opinion but I hope something blows up this stupid corporate structure top to bottom, more than people just quitting and going remote. I want CEOs working harder than entry-level workers. I want higher-ups actually training the next generation. I have no idea how any of this will be sustainable and I hope it crumbles.
