Capitalism is Slavery

I missed an entire childhood with my mother. Not because she was absent by choice, but because she was a nurse…and her life belonged to the hospital. In the USA…so just imagine, birthing a child, then clocking in 2 days later… My mother is a beautiful, unimaginable human being. She has literally held a man’s heart in her hands and pumped it to keep him alive. She’s revived the dead. My mother is magic. And…I barely knew her until recently. I missed an entire childhood with her, because she lived in the hospital, and I lived a block away…so close but so far. Capitalism destroys the human experience.
