I quit my decent job

I (M18) was working at a Jack in the box and quit last Thursday. I been there for almost 7 months now. Everything was going pretty good. I had just moved to that city not knowing anyone and become friends with some of my coworkers (still hanging out even after quitting) and we had just gotten raises this new year ($15). As time kept going I got tired of the customers and the boss(M47). I had been thinking about moving on for a while now but didn’t think it would have been so soon. But last Tuesday I had my final straw. For the past month before that, my boss kept switching up my schedule every week. Each one worse than the other. I went from only working in the morning with my friends, to something in between and to all afternoon shift with me as the only cashier (having to do the job of 3 people). And at first I didn’t care because I kept getting Sundays off(I asked him months prior that I needed them to visit my dad). So I just went with it and kept and mouth shut as I usually would. But I got tired of it, one week he wanted me to end my shift at 10:00pm and come in the next day at 6:00am. Which doesn’t seem like such a big deal but Im always doing favors for him and staying later and coming in on days off so I was already tired and I knew I would have gotten very little sleep, so I called off (told him I wasn’t feeling good). Once I got back and he saw that I was fine, he asked me what was really wrong. So I told him the truth hoping to fix the problem. I said I don’t like working afternoons and that him wanting me to come in at 6 after leaving at 10 was BS. So he said fine I’ll fix it. So what did he do? Make it worse. Instead of fixing it he made me come in from 2-10 everyday with Friday and Saturday off. Which ain’t a bad schedule but I need the Sundays off. When I confronted him about it, he said “we’ll you have to talk to me properly otherwise things won’t get fixed and trust will be lost.” I said “okay and what about the Sundays? I told you about them months ago.” He just shut up and didn’t say anything. So I knew I couldn’t rely on him for shit anymore. The next day or so (Tuesday) I came in to work, grumpy and mopey as usual working alone as usual and while taking an extremely long order I asked this lady “okay anything else?” And with attitude she said “Um.. I’m not done yet” thought whatever and when she got to the window she asked with an attitude “what’s your problem? Why are so rude?” I simply said “I don’t like my job” and she shut up for a bit. Once her order was ready I handed it out and in a polite voice she said “oh may I please have some sauce” I thought “maybe she realized that I’m not doing so well” so I gave her extra, but I was wrong. Before she left she changed attitude and said “why you gotta be such a bitch?” I didn’t say anything back and just shut the window. But I knew right there and then that I needed to quit. The next couple of days I started giving out extra food and drinks and charging less. It felt nice. I ended up staying till Thursday cuz Friday was my day off and I felt kinda bad for leaving the rest of my coworkers. But when I did leave, I didn’t even tell the boss in person, I just left a note with no explanation.
