I don't know why anyone puts up with middle managers or corporate bullshit. Maybe it's fear. But home depot is now trying to slowly force everyone to come back to office for corporate on a hybrid schedule. Why is this bad? Some people live outside of Atlanta in the suburbs, resulting in a 1.5 hour commute to office, and 1.5 hours back. If accident happens, double that time.
Why would anyone want to lose 12+ hours a week and risk their lives on dangerous Atlanta highways so their manager making 200k a year can see them type on a laptop? WTF is this medieval crap?
The point is this: give everyone a choice. Some people love going into office. Others simply can't. Housing is surging and companies are way too cheap to pay higher salaries for city living
