I just got fired from a bar I worked at, and have the keys to. I always got a direct deposit for my payments, but instead they wrote a physical check I have to go pick up in person when i turn in my keys. I just moved far away and don't want to go into town just to drop off my keys so I'm waiting till I have other plans in the area. They also want me to sign some kind of termination form in person. I feel like they are withholding final payment which is illegal right?
