I'm a teenager, and overheard my parents talking about how you shouldn't discuss your salary or you get fired / bosses get mad. Which, of course, didn't make sense. Since I'm still a minor, and am learning about the world, I asked why.. and they explained. It still doesn't make sense. So, someone negotiates $55k/yr, and their supervisor negotiates $53k/yr, and that's fair? No! Give the f*cking supervisor a raise! Hard work plus good job should equal increase in pay. Am I missing something..?
