Slightly expanded:
Interviewed for a role, was called back for THREE interviews, finally got an offer that was 10k below my asking salary and also below my CURRENT salary.
I responded citing current rising gas and grocery prices, my extensive experience in the field, and the fact that it was actually a pay cut from my current role as reasoning for why I am asking for $10k more.
Response was “Sorry to hear you’re turning us down, salary is non negotiable, good luck”
Rage, why would you waste my time, making me leave my job on three occasions, when you knew my salary expectations from the beginning. Interviews all went great also, I am a manager at my current job and know exactly what they are looking for
Should I respond or just leave it? Does she get any additional repercussion if I deny saying I turned it down, because technically shes withdrawing it.
