Do you have good management who try and care?
Then tell me how much u get paid and the other employees
If they make so much more than you by tons and can afford to pay you more then here’s what you could do
•First get a gage on how many people are thinking about working for the other company
•Second get all the ones you feel that will totally go into a messaging group to talk things out
•Third if you have many of them on your side you then go talk with the other company with everyone with you and try and negotiate for other things like 5% more pay so it’s 25% more than your current employer if they cant ask for other small “Quality of life” things that they might be able to right off on their taxes
If you succeed there try and get it in writing and make then understand that because so many of their competitors workers will quit to work there it will actually harm your old employers especially if you bring a clientele with you and will make your current employer have to spend time and money looking for new people and training and all that so it will slow down their productivity a lot, make the new employer know that since you are bringing people over from the same Industry they don’t need to train you or train you way way less than if you are completely new at the job so they will be getting a lot out of you and the people you bring over
Ok but say that you like the job your at now and you like the management and see they are trying, after you talk to the new company and get a gage on everything they will do for you talk to your bosses and say “hey look at everything they will give us and you won’t what stopping you from giving us the same things or at least just the pay raise? And make sure you tell them it will cost them a lot of time and money to replace all of you and time wasted on training new people when they can just pay you more If they get mad and refuse just walk out on a busy day you and everyone else with u on this and screw them over and go work at the new place
You have power, YOU HAVE POWER don’t think you don’t, believe me you do and sometimes management don’t see it or try to gaslight you into thinking you are powerless but you aren’t you have their time and money it takes to train and hire new people, it messes up productivity and that hurts their sales and hurts their bonuses
Also it’s a huge plus if you can get some lower management to come with you if there’s openings for lower management there, that will be good leverage to have against upper management!!!
