I drove almost 4 hours yesterday (due to traffic) to interview for a staff accountant posistion only to be declined an offer due to “not fitting their corporate culture”. I was told all the work could be done remotetly but some seniors didn't like that I would only be in the office a couple times of month instead of several times a week. Everyone agreed that the remote work and in office work is identical but it was still somehow an issue. I just feel like so much of my time was wasted.
