I went freelance to avoid stupid chats over pay. These are two employees from a company that hire photographers to venues and they had a last minute “hotspot”. For last minute bookings, I charge 1.5 to 2x my normal rate. They offered an extra 50p (66¢) per shoot. My standard day rate is £250 ($343)
