Hello antiwork friends! We present an AMA (Ask Me Anything) with Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee (EWOC), who are participating with the account u/WorkplaceOrganizing.
We are opening the post ahead of the scheduled AMA (Friday, 11 AM EST / UTC -5) so you can get your questions in.
Please vote on questions you'd like to prioritize to be answered.
Now, we'll let EWOC introduce themselves:
The Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee (EWOC) began as a way to connect workplace organizers with essential workers during the 2020 lockdown. Since then EWOC has continued to help hundreds of workers organize their workplaces all around the country.
Last year, EWOC began to train new workplace organizers in order to help rebuild the labor movement. Our first training series of 2022 begins Wednesday, March 9. In four discussion sessions over two weeks, participants will be introduced to the fundamental principles of workplace organizing.
