First off, the whole “must work here for a year to get PTO” is ridiculous but I needed a job. Then you’re going to tell me 9 months into my employment that my vacation days are pro-rated to how many months are left in the year!?
So I planned a vacation and I’m going to use all my PTO for it. Now I can’t go home for Christmas for the 5th year in a row even though I was fully expecting and planning on using the rest of my PTO in December.
Now I’m sitting on the toilet for the next 20-30 minutes just to go on Reddit and get paid. You want me to work hard and feel motivated? You don’t want me to take 30 minute bathroom breaks? Then show me some fucking respect.
