I work for a small machine company, cnc work and that kind of stuff. I've been here for 4 years and aside from health issues never miss work or produce any scrap parts as we'll call it. As someone who has been here longer than 99% of the other workers my supervisor does a good job at underpaying me while paying everyone else an incredibly higher rate. I started out at 14 here and have worked very hard to reach 19.08 but we've got people here now who start at 19.50 and some people even more. They also refuse to teach me any kind of tooling work for some reason unbeknownst to me. After 4 years they still keep me a button pusher but higher new people with 0 experience in these fields to do jobs that pay significantly more than me. I have expressed that I'd like to learn everything and anything I am able to understand and comprehend.
I feel I deserve to be paid more than Joe or Barbara who started yesterday
TLDR: I feel underpaid and passed off in the work place despite being one of the best workers in my current field.
