I absolutely hate it when I take the time out of my day to apply for a part time position and they reply with interest, but try to trap me into somehow accepting a full time position instead.
Shouldn't this be labeled illegal somehow – like misrepresentation or something? Each time this happens, I'll type this reply: “Thank you for taking the time to reply to my application, but I am not looking for a 40h+ position. I will be more than happy to work for you if you have anything available that's between 20-30 hours per week.”
Guess what? That's right! No replies! Fuck these people. I'm not spending the rest of my life working shit for minimum wage. I understand that I need to pay for stuff if I want hobbies and shit, but I can easily get by with money I have saved for at least a few years, if not more.
Until then, I'm just going to stand my ground and refuse to work for people who do not respect my time.
