What are some things we do that we might not be aware of that makes your life harder while at work. Work sucks enough with intentional assholes and I know several things that pissed me off in CS that others might be unaware of.
I'll go first: I worked at a hardware chain. If you take something from the shelves but don't want it please put it back where you got it. If you don't know where it goes, give it to customer service or a cashier. They can give us a cart with the stuff that's supposed to go in our department. It sucks having to trek all the way to another department to return something that you don't have the foggiest idea of where it's supposed to go, especially when you've been on your feet all day.
