so much for so little

i put in my two week's notice two weeks ago and this was my last day. i have been meaning to do this for a while, actually. what i'm leaving to pursue is uncertain (teaching english online and, potentially, eventually abroad) and i'll still need a part time job somewhere, but getting my paycheck from work today for the second last time, i knew i'd done the right thing. actually, i already knew i'd done the right thing by the way it pissed off my boss when i gave him my notice. everyone else who put work on me or used me to lighten their load was also dismayed. the good ones were just sad to see another competent person leave. honestly, i get the feeling that working me to death was critical in my boss's plans for getting through the holiday season. my 'zone leader' quit maybe four weeks…
