I'm 19 and haven't had a stable job before. I've finally found one with very good hours for my current living situation (16 a week) at a redemption center. Its $14.50 an hour with under the table pay. Is there any risks to this for me? I know it's not legal but I'm under the assumption only the employer can be in trouble for this. Mainly curious about if there is any downsides to this for me specifically. TLDR: under the table pay, can it effect the employee negatively?
