Doing all the work of a manager, but no pay raise?

Looking for some advice on what to do at my current position. I started at this company in Feb 2021, with 2 years of experience in this kind of work (I'm 26 now). 2 months into my engineering position, my manager quit for a different job. My company interviewed around for a replacement, but never found a candidate they liked. I wasn't considered because I was only in the company for two months. In the mean time, I took over the responsibilities myself, doing things like management reviews, trainings, dealing with money, and those responsibilities. I've talked with my current boss/supervisors have talked to me about intending me to be moved into that manager role officially, but it only comes up every 3-4 months, and always with the context of “When this becomes available”. I haven't had a raise either since starting over a year ago. Should I ask for…
