Went to McDonald's to pick up a snack on my ride to a friends house Sunday morning. This was the scene:
Two lane drive thru both full out to street (approximately 18 vehicles each lane) so I decided to walk inside. I wish I had brought my phone in to take this nightmare picture. 14 people in the lobby area waiting for their order and 4 people (including me) waiting to place an order.
Amongst the hustle we can hear the employees talking about why they have not hired anyone else and someone in the back spoke up.”Because we are the only ones dumb enough to work for minimum wage”. At that point I decided I had enough and started to turn and walk out. The very nice young girl behind the counter called me and asked if i was already helped since i was next in line. I simply said thank you but i think you have enough on your hands at the moment and turned back and walked out. I cant be sure because i turned to fast but i think she mouthed thank you to me.
