I’m really frustrated

Excuse the formatting, I’m on mobile and I’m just typing the first thing that comes to mind. Nowadays,I don’t really care for work but seeing that that’s where we are in the world if I have to work I’d rather do something I know I’m good at. We need to do something to get by( even though getting by shouldn’t even be a thing. We should be able to live without worrying about being homeless and starving.) I thought that the ideal position would be (hear me out) in a cubicle for a couple of hours a day being left alone to work on whatever and then go home. This was before life was the way it is now.

Back in 2014 I just wanted an office job. I was fresh out of school so I was more than accustomed to the “sit for 8 hours a day and go home” routine. (I would prefer to work from home now though.) It’s just frustrating that no matter my education and background I can’t get this kind of job. 2-3 years of experience just to sit at a desk and type shit?? It’s so stupid and needing a bachelor degree makes it frustrating. No one really should have to go to college, especially if the field you’re in isn’t in demand and makes paying off debt impossible.

I was taught that if I just get the experience and make connections I should be fine but it doesn’t feel like I’m suppose to be successful. (Mind you, success for me is being able to keep my lights on and my bills paid without worrying if I’ll starve. ) That’s where I want to be since I grew up in a fairly (poor) household.

If this is jumbled I’m sorry but appreciate you reading nonetheless.
