Mackenzie Scott, generous patron of the Black Community?

Mackenzie Scott (ex wife of Jeff Bezos) donated 20 billion dollars to HBCUs and related organizations. This was undoubtedly generous of her. Black people need to remember, however, that that same wealth came from years of underpaying her company's workers – many of whom were black. Amazon's executives, including her ex husband, dodged taxes which would have ultimately benefitted public services. So to be technical, Scott is using money her ex husband and she got through tax loopholes from underpaying black workers to donate back to the black community. It was money that was supposed to be ours to begin with. I'm not saying not to be thankful for the gesture, but it's important to look at where and how people got the money they use to be philanthropists.
