I've worked hard all my life, went through graduate school, and all I have right now is 5000 dollars saved. That's it. I can't buy a house, I have to slave away until 70, at which point…I don't know what will happen.
My parents are in their late seventies, and although they're very healthy, they're still renting where they live…and they have barely anything saved, just like me, because of their healthcare costs.
Tldr: my entire family has almost nothing saved, I wonder if I'm the minority or not right now.
Life's tough, and I'm really tired…to think money would dictate our lives so much, and that hard work would not lead to prosperity.
Why go through all of this?
