Going through a blizzard that’s set to last till Christmas morning, but I won’t know if until midnight tonight if I have to come in tomorrow.

I posted the other day, upset about the fact that only my department had to work a full day today, and only myself and two others have to work tomorrow, Christmas Eve. Nothing had changed since then until today, when we were told we could leave at 4, instead of 5, because of the storm. Mind you, it's been heavily snowing (complete whiteout at times) since 1. I had a full blown panic attack driving home, and I only live a few miles away. Anyhow, as I was leaving, I asked the owner, again, are we still open tomorrow, given that the travel ban won't lift until Sunday morning. He said he'll let me know. Sigh….. I asked by when. He said at least by midnight. If we're closed tomorrow he'll call me. So I might wake up with a few feet of snow and some ice underneath, and still…

I'm going to call him in the morning to confirm if he doesn't call me tonight, but yea. Might be forced to drive during a travel ban just to sit on my ass for a few hours because NO ONE is gonna come in to buy during a blizzard/Christmas Eve. I hate my job.
