Trying to find a new job

I’m currently in the process of trying to find a new job. I’ve been working freelance/doing Instacart for a couple months now after quitting a toxic job and it’s just not cutting it. As I’ve been applying/interviewing and such, I’ve really been interested in other peoples experiences with this during these times. Those of you in similar situations, what is the best advice you can give to others in the same boat? Those of you who have good/high paying jobs, can you tell me what you did to achieve that? What is your best advice on landing a good job? A little bit about myself, I have a Bachelors degree and around 3-5 years of experience in the field I’m applying to. A little bit about myself, I have a Bachelors degree and around 3-5 years of experience in the field I’m applying to. I always use a cover letter, portfolio website, references and of course a resume when applying to companies. I have applied to around 300 jobs and have heard back from around 20. Lots of denials but some interviews. I went through a 6 week interview process with a pretty prestigious company which included an assessment. I didn’t get that opportunity unfortunately which was really disappointing. I asked what I can do to improve my resume/portfolio site and took their advice but it wasn’t much. I’ve found this process to be very demeaning and honestly exhausting.

The advice I would give to others in my situation: try to keep your head up. We got this! Hopefully 🤞

I’m not sure if this is going to work but something I’ve been trying is looking up the top 500 companies, going down the list, checking each companies website and if they have something I’m qualified for applying. I’m applying to all kinds of jobs, remote and in person. The biggest thing for me right now is that I financially need a certain amount and so thats why I’m applying to big companies, hoping I can get what I need/deserve.

Let me know your advice!!!
