Im quitting my job in 2 hours.
Electrical engineer, with the company 3 years. Started with 4 EEs in my department and a year ago they all left. All the work came down on me. I have been doing the work of 4 engineers while my company “finds the right person”. Its been a year, they are just using me until they find their unicorn. No raises in 3 years despite upping my billable rate by $40.
Went from EIT to PE to manager to gone!
They are going to be in a world of hurt but they created this house of cards. What can you do?
Edit: haven’t sent it yet. Came back after work and am locked out of everything…. Just a coincidence my boss is still setting up meeting for me to meet new clients. Will send when I get access again.
