soon to be unemployed. does anyone recommend any work from home options?

After a series of disagreements with my manager, they informed me that they will be letting me go at the end of the month. I have a child due in two months and can't afford to not work. With the rising cost of gas, I also can't afford to drive to the city for another job. Is there any work from home options that you all would receive? I have worked for the last 6 years in retail, the majority of time being a pharmacy tech and then shift supervisor. The last few months I've been an assistant manager. The disagreements with higher management have been about corporate pressures and the amount of work being put on our already overworked staff.
