So my boss was meeting with us today and when she spoke about the war in Ukraine , she literally told me (an Iraqi) , you can ask him how the people in Iraq are OK with suicide bombers but we are talking about Ukraine! and I immediately interrupted and said what makes you think we are OK with suicide bombers? She said because there were news everyday about was a suicide bombing and car bombs in Iraq but this cannot happen in Ukraine, Ukraine is Europe!! I immediately left the room and sat alone at my desk, then after the meeting she came to my desk and asks to speak in private, I go with her , and she tells me and I quote” I am sorry if you felt bad for the things I said there , I meant the muslims in Iraq not you, since you are christian I didn’t think you were gonna get upset!! “ Last thing:- I am happy I have another passport.
