Is anyone else offended by the micro-aggressive ways bosses give you lesser labels?

So I’ve talked about this with my SO for about a year and I find it’s been in all the workplaces I’ve been in since first mentioning it. Now, for clarity, I am young and in my early 20s, so it’s hard to say if it’s because I look inexperienced or if they really are trying to make me feel below them, but I work a steady job as a Security officer, and even though I have 2 kids and I am very professional, and take my job very seriously my boss thinks it’s ok for him to call me “bud” or “buddy” even though I ALWAYS address him as “Sir” now anyone who knows me know that I cannot stand being called buddy.
