Can Medical coders reduce the cost of treatment significantly?

I live in the States and am on Medicaid, however, I am curious to know if you can change the price of medical treatment or essential medication for the patients who have to pay out of pocket for insurance rather than letting greedy corporations charge whatever they want even for holding your newborn baby.
