So I applied to work from 6pm to 6am because my gfs dad has to get ready to go to work at 6:30am me and my gf applied and told the hiring manager why we needed those times and she said it wouldn't be a problem so we worked two weeks and I made a friend an older guy nicknamed “T” so we work for about 2-3 weeks then we are told there is a new manager above the whole night shift and he seemed alright until a week in me and my gf were leaving but as we were exiting the door the new manager asked us where we were going we said “home” he said “um I don't think so everyone leaves at seven” I explained we have talked to the hiring manager as well as the other managers and he said “that doesn't matter im the manager now so if you two don't fix this in the next two weeks you are fired” and I had a whatever attitude and then called the hiring manager in the morning and she basically said she'd look into it and we eneded up just getting her dad to pick us up at seven so we continued on and the next week I was working with my friend T in the chemical aisles and he was telling me why he talked differently and it was because of a family member who hit him when he was younger and he told me that he also doesn't know how to read and I asked how he knows where things go and he said he learned but it's really difficult when they change things and he told the managers to put him with someone and they just didn't listen and I told them to put him and I together and they moved me to the pet food aisle (I have back problems and told them that) they wrote up my gf that night for taking too long on an aisle she was kind of a slow worker because that was her first job and the next week they put her with a new girl on the same aisle and expected her to train her I asked them if they where trying to just get rid of her and they said “we are trying to make her better” I said if you want people to get better give them hands on training not videos I learned alot of stuff from a guy who didn't even work in the stocking department after he said I looked like I needed help (6months in) and I learned alot of stuff but after they wrote my gf up the third time and they continued putting me in the pet food aisle I was done couldn't handle it anymore
