Hi, I'm a 20 years old college students working part time while study in Malaysia. I'm working part time mostly just for my pocket money. Well yesterday I went to an interview for a cafe nearby my house and got the job. The pay is 30 percent better, better work hour, better environment.(The shop I currently worked in doesn't have staff break room)
I told my boss I'll stop working with them after this week, so they aren't too happy with that. Given they always experienced staff shortages and untrustworthy staff. (there's two staff who've been caught stealing money from cashier register, one of them stole over 500 MYR). Now she's threatening that she'll withhold my March salary if I quit this week. Tbh my current pay is below average and I only got a 50 cent raise in my hourly pay in last month.
How should I handle this situation perfectly?
