I've worked at a large manufacturing company for almost 10 years and was recently passed over for a promotion that I had 8 years of experience in. They brought in an outsider and moved me to a different position making slightly more.
Any want to move up in this company is out the window and most days I just watch Netflix. I've been doing nothing for so long that I'm scared to get a position where I'll actually have to work. I've thought about getting a side gig to fill my free time and make some cash but don't know what I'd do.
