Does anyone have any experience Relocating for a job?

My partner is kinda of a rough living situation and we are trying to get him out of it. There are some jobs in my area that ask on indeed if you’ll need help relocating in the application. No guarantees he gets the relocation package, but if he does anything we should look for? We haven’t started applying for jobs because this aspect is new to us both.
