Two weeks ago it was my birthday on a Monday but i had to work as i had some things to do. So on that Friday i took the day off just to relax. It was the first day off i took this year.
So yesterday, on Friday, i was at work when my boss walked by. He says to me, ‘oh youre here. I thought you were going to take another Friday off.’
I bit my tongue but inside i was pretty upset. Why must they try to make us feel guilty for taking a friggin day off? Just because work is your entire life does not mean that it is to me.
Cant i take a mental health day off to just unwind and play some Elden Ring or something? 🙁
