Hi guys, so I'm about to graduate with my associate's in IT in about 5 weeks with the A+ cert soon to follow.
I have good customer service experience/sales experience (retail) but no professional/paid IT experience. I live in SoCal.
Now I have a few specific questions but I would love any and all tips you guys have for me, I've seen some really good stuff on this sub.
- Should I stick to jobs listed as “Entry Level”?
- Should I be ok with relocation out of state?
- What sort of pay/salary should I reasonably expect?
- Any red flags to watch out for?
- Is remote work a viable option and good work experience?
- Anything I can put in a resume or use in an interview that would be good?
- I know I should get more qualifications when I can, are there any that I should work towards ASAP?
- Type of fields to look for/avoid? ex. Medical, Retail, Government.
