Last year around September/October/November I worked in a restaurant in my small town, for the couple of months coming up to Christmas they started taking our tips(without asking) and started putting them in a jar for Christmas lunch together(yikes). They stopped having me come in at the start of December so I didn't even get my tips back, but today a P45 slip showed up and I remembered what they did and am wanting my hard earned money back. Do I have any kind of case? Are there laws in place to stop workplaces stealing tips?
