My former job let some ppl be fully remote even if there peers were going in the office. I initially started taking off vacation/pto which allowed me to come in one day a week instead of the two like some of my team was doing. Looking back I regret this, because it probably made me look bad, although no one said anything to me. I just really couldn’t afford to pay $500 a month in commuting fees. I just wonder if other companies had people who were allowed more leniency, and held others to different standards.
