I need advice on a situation I’m facing at my workplace. To keep it short, I was promoted to “supervisor” and have been performing said duties for about two weeks.
The issue is that I haven’t yet received my offer letter detailing the title change and increased pay rate.
I’m getting fed up because they basically strung me along for this position for MONTHS before finally saying that I got it but not giving me an offer letter???? I sent an email to HR asking when I can expect to see this but no response.
I’ve heard I should also receive retroactive pay for the time I’ve been doing supervisory functions and not paid correctly.
How can I approach this with my employer? I am starting to feel angry, resentful and upset.
I’m not in a position to quit but am looking for jobs.
Any lawyers in here that might be able to point me to specific labor laws etc?
